SAFEGUARDING

Kingsland C.E. Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children.

The school is a place where every person has the right to be themselves, to be included and to learn in a safe and happy environment. We ensure consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support children, families and staff at school.

What is the right age to allow my children to use Social Media?

The right age for children to use social media depends on their maturity, responsibility, and the platform’s minimum age requirements (typically 13+).

Parents should consider factors like online safety, privacy, and screen time balance.

Open communication, parental controls, and gradual exposure can help ensure a safe and positive experience.
