OUR STORY
In 2018, Kingsland CE Academy underwent a remarkable transformation by becoming the Stoke Apple Regional Training Centre.
This new role allowed the school to offer vocational training and support to local businesses and individuals. In 2019, the school further enriched its educational offerings by introducing 1:1 iPads across Key Stage One and Two.
OUR VISION
THE WHY?
Through our digital vision “Developing creative, confident learners to flourish in an ever changing world” and the whole school vision of ‘Together We are Walking in the Light with Jesus’, our aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where all individuals can feel empowered to develop their skills and knowledge independently.
Our goal is to raise attainment, inspiring children to learn, believe in themselves, and strive for their dreams. It is crucial to raise the aspirations of our children and leverage technology to enhance their cultural capital.
How is this going to be embraced by all stakeholders and what will the impact be? Technology offers both our staff and students avenues for innovation, creation, and evaluation of their learning experiences. We firmly believe in utilising iPads to foster critical thinking, effective communication, and personalised learning, equipping our children for the world they will inhabit in the future.
INSPIRE
At Kingsland, we are committed to helping every child flourish.
Imagine
We believe that learning should be an adventurous experience.
With iPads, children can explore, create, and share in engaging and impactful ways. They have the freedom to choose how to demonstrate their knowledge, whether through making posters, filming videos, recording voices, or drawing.
IMPACT
‘Flourishing’ encompasses more than academic success.
Next Steps
Our digital vision will continue to propel the school forward, ensuring that pupils flourish by seamlessly integrating technology across the curriculum to enhance their learning experiences.
